Cloakroom & Toilet Attendant - George Club

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Cloakroom & Toilet Attendant to join the team of our fantastic private members’ club, George - part of The Birley Clubs.

George is a contemporary private members’ club in the heart of Mayfair. Set across two levels, with a ground floor dining room where the open kitchen creates classic brasserie dishes from organic and seasonal ingredients and a comfortable downstairs bar for relaxing and socialising.

As Cloakroom & Toilet Attendant you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cloakroom and toilet facilities, ensuring all guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience. You will work closely with and support the Reception team in providing friendly and attentive service to all our Members. You will be responsible for the safe keeping of Member’s coats and bags as well as running Member’s belongings up to the reception area upon departure. Excellent communication and organisation will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests courteously as they use the cloakroom, tagging and storing personal items securely.
• Keep the cloakroom area organized and ensure efficient retrieval of belongings.
• Ensure toilet facilities are kept clean, fully stocked, and well-maintained at all times.
• Conduct regular checks of the toilets, replenishing supplies and reporting any issues to management.
• Provide a welcoming and positive environment, offering assistance when needed.
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are met, adhering to venue policies.

Requirements:

• A polite and approachable demeanour with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential – full training provided.

The successful candidate will be required to work a range of shifts including weekday evenings and weekends.
